How we handle your data.

§ I · What we collect

Not much. Mostly nothing.

PrePicked is a browser extension. Most of the work it does happens inside your own browser. Your cart history, preferences, and local settings are stored only on your device, in browser storage. They never reach our servers.

When you ask the extension to generate a new cart, we send a single, anonymous prompt — the theme you typed, plus your budget — to our AI processing service. We do not attach your name, email, IP address, or any identifier. We do not retain these prompts after the cart is generated.

We do not require an account. We do not run analytics that track you across sites.

§ II · Cookies

Essential, plus retailer affiliate cookies.

Our website uses only essential cookies — the minimum required to serve the page, which in our case is effectively none. We do not run advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you.

When you click through to a retailer from PrePicked, that retailer's affiliate network may set a cookie in your browser to attribute the visit to us. This is how we earn a commission. These cookies are set by the retailer or its affiliate network — not by us — and are governed by their own policies.

§ III · Third parties

Who we work with, and why.

We use a small and deliberate set of services to run PrePicked:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and edge workers.
• Anthropic — AI processing of cart-generation prompts.
• Affiliate networks — Impact Radius (Walmart, Target, Instacart), FlexOffers (Kroger), Rakuten (Sam's Club), Amazon Associates.

Each of these has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data required for them to do their job. We do not sell any data to anyone.

§ IV · Your rights

GDPR, CCPA, and the common-sense version.

Wherever you live, you have the right to:

• Access any data we hold about you.
• Delete it.
• Opt out of any "sale" of it — we do not sell it, so this is automatic.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of the above.

To exercise any right, email us at hello@getprepicked.com. We respond within 30 days (usually within two business days).

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of information we collect. The short answer: browser-local cart data and anonymous prompts. Nothing else.

§ V · Children

Not intended for minors.

PrePicked is not intended for users under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 13, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the extension, email us and we will delete any record.

§ VI · Changes

We will tell you.

If we change this policy materially, we will update the effective date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify users within the extension on next open. Minor clarifications and editorial revisions may be made without notice.
